I will operate in accordance with basic values relating to respect for human life and dignity, freedom, honesty, fairness, solidarity and patriotism.
I will perform my duties efficiently, fairly and diligently.
I will exercise due diligence in the handling of public funds entrusted to me to the extent of my powers, so that they will be used to their best effect.
I will avoid promises and practices that may bind the state or its institutions to obligations which are vague, unfeasible or harmful.
I will use information acquired in connection with the discharge of my functions only for official purposes and by no means for any personal advantage or for the advantage of unauthorised persons or institutions.
In accordance with the law, I will reject any favours, privileges and gifts offered to me, my immediate family, relatives or any other person on account of the office.
I will avoid any conflict of interests, and should it arise or be likely to arise, I will refer the situation to the President of the Government and follow his/her instructions to eliminate it.
During my term in office, I will consistently respect the limitations and prohibitions with regard to for-profit activities, and hold statutory activities (educational, scientific, research, art, cultural, publishing activities) within such limits that they will not affect my function in terms of work quality and efficiency, of which I will duly inform the President of the Government.
I will reject invitations to participate on a paid basis in conferences, consultations and training courses in the field of my competence or to take part in drawing up comments on the relevant laws and regulations and in similar for-profit activities.
I will provide the public with all public information at my disposal or at the disposal of the authorities I head, including information on any events or expenses associated with the carrying out of my functions.
On request, I will provide information to the public about my earnings and property situation, as well as about any statutory for-profit activities that I might be engaged in whilst holding office.

My conduct will contribute to the prevention and detection of irregularities and unlawful deeds, including corruption and clientelism.
In the event of my violation of the constitutional oath, non-compliance with this Code of Ethics or failure to achieve the expected results, should it be assessed by the President of the Government and the Chairmen of the coalition parties that substantial damage has been done to the reputation of the Government or to the institution I head, I will offer my resignation from office.
