AREAS OF WORK

 

The main task of the Ministry of Public Administration is to optimize and ensure resources needed by other ministries and wider public sector in order to provide efficient and high quality public services to the citizens.

 

 

As horizontal ministry, the Ministry of Public Administration covers several areas:

  • regulatory and organizational aspect of public sector as well as coordination of HRM policies
  • state informatics
  • management of state-owned assets
  • centralized public procurement
  • better regulation and reduction of administrative burdens
  • quality of public administration
  • local self-government
  • integrity and prevention of corruption in public sector
  • non-governmental organizations

The Ministry is responsible for regulation and development of listed areas with emphasis on better and more active cooperation and communication between different stakeholders (public administration institutions, public service providers, NGOs, private sector entities, etc.) as well as for identification and implementation of good practices and innovative approaches in all related fields.
