Mission

 

The mission of the International Cooperation Service is a two-way transfer of knowledge, experience, practices, policies and regulatory framework between the national and international institutions covering the area of public administration as well as the promotion and stimulation of cooperation between these institutions. Coordination and transfer of the above activities are of paramount importance for the development of a modern and professionally competent public administration that is comparable internationally and aimed at citizens and business operators. The mission of the International Cooperation Service is in line with the objectives of the Lisbon strategy. 

 

 

Area of Work

  

The area of work of the International Cooperation Service comprises:

 

  • management and coordination of international cooperation relating to e-Government, better administration management and best practice in the public administration,
  • transposition of EU Directives pertaining to the public administration,
  • coordination and drafting of positions of the Ministry of Public Administration regarding international affairs in the domain of public administration;
  • cooperation with international organizations and institutions responsible for the development and implementation of public administration strategy,
  • preparation of expert groundwork for establishing basic national positions for international events,
  • monitoring of the employment policy in the European institutions,
  • coordination of common policies in the field of public administration,
  • achieving the objectives of the Lisbon strategy
  • cooperation in European and international projects, such as IDABC, etc.
  • managing international documents pertaining to public administration (reception, distribution, dispatch).
